Western Health Advantage is committed to the health and well-being of you and your family.

With this in mind, WHA developed this resource for teen health-related information for both parents and their children.

Update on Coronavirus (COVID-19) Vaccines for Children

Everyone ages 6 months and older are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. Specific COVID-19 vaccine brands and doses have different age, eligibility, and timing requirements. COVID-19 vaccine is available to your child at $0, check with your doctor, pediatrician or pharmacy on availability for you and your family.

Parents who include teen well visits as part of a healthy lifestyle know that their doctor is an important part of their child’s health and well-being. They also know that well visits help build a trusting relationship between them, their child, and their doctor – before their child becomes sick. Well visits can also provide parents peace of mind knowing that they provide them a chance to talk to their doctor about any other concerns they may have, such as mental or social issues, recommended health screenings, and immunizations.

With the help of regular well-care visits, your child’s doctor can often find and take care of health problems before they become serious.*
